I never exactly thought I'd be someone to write a blog post about anything specific, but here we are. Warframe is just that impactful of a game, and the quest The New War proves that point even moreso.
I'm no stranger to MMOs. I've hopped around a few before, sticking to my own little communities that I had already before I even got into the game. Or, if I didn't get into the game with a group, I'd keep to myself for the most part. Many MMO's tend to have this almost clique mentality to them, especially once you start getting into mid/late game areas. I can't speak on late game personally, but so far, Warframe has proven to be the exact opposite of this. Never before have I felt so welcomed by complete and utter strangers.
I got into this game because of one of my friends that I met through playing D&D together. He specifically brought up The Duviri Paradox first, and the trailer just for that had me hook, line, and sinker. It wasn't even a surprise to me. I enjoy the hell out of roguelikes/lites, even if the only one I've really played for myself is Hades.
