Finally getting out of the mental health slump I've been in for the past few months and it's feeling good. Definitely not where I ideally want to be, but it's progress all the same!

I've been playing a lot of warframe during my time away from updating here, much to no one's surprise, given my last update. There hasn't been much for me to do after the new Jade Shadows: Constellations quest, since neither of the railjack missions particularly appeal to me.

Actually, on a somewhat related note, I don't like how DE handled Vena and Ryoku. I can confidently say that they're the first characters that I feel are entirely unnecessary to the story that they're involved in. Dare I say they feel more like cosmetic fodder than actual characters. We never really find out why they're involved with Sirius and Orion besides Vena being romantically involved with Orion, and even then we don't hear much about how that came to be. I only hope that in future updates we get to discover more about them as people, but I'm not holding my breath unfortunately.

The job market continues to be in shambles, and I haven't had any luck finding employment during my break. Not for lack of trying, of course. It's just been a whole lot of places either not getting back to me or just outright saying "we're not interested". Honestly, it's better in my opinion to get a "no" than to be ghosted lmao. It shows at least some level of professionalism.

My partner's gotten me into listening to Versailles more! He's shown me a few of their songs before, and I enjoyed them a lot. Specifically MASQUERADE and ASCENDEAD MASTER are the ones he showed me, I think. It's likely that he's shown me the other ones I've been listening to recently, but I don't remember when that happened <<. Regardless, I think VOGUE has got to be one of my favorites of theirs! Which is...very unfortunate. There's someone with the username "Tidus peco" on Chorus Encore that's charted their entire discography up to a certain point, but because VOGUE came out during a reunion tour within the past few years, it isn't included in that. A real shame, because I think it'd be really fun to play and they make really good charts.

Back on the mental health topic from before. I got started on a new medication for my depression. I admit I was skeptical as hell of it at first. I've been on antidepressants before and every single one has ended in disaster. Turns out my body just doesn't agree with SSRI's. Got put on one that focuses on dopamine instead of serotonin and I've been doing great. There's been a few side effects that have kicked my ass, namely the anxiety and muscle cramps, but those are subsiding and it's wild to actually feel myself stabilize. Is this how people feel normally???
