It's definitely been a long while since I've updated this place. I've been going through a lot of things irl and life has been extremely chaotic because of it, so I haven't had a lot of time to be on here. Thankfully, things seem to be leveling out and reaching a level that has me pretty comfortable with updating again!

Been playing a lot of Warframe to cope with stresses. No surprises there. I've been really enjoying the rerun of the Belly of the Beast event! I keep hearing people talk about how they don't enjoy the game mode, but I'm personally having a ton of fun with it. It probably helps that I've mainly been playing it with my partner instead of solo. It just feels better that way.

We've also been running eidolon hunts more regularly, since we both need the focus points and brilliant eidolon shards to complete our respective focus school trees. I am so goddamn close to finishing out Naramon I can taste it. As soon as I'm able I'm grabbing that skin color palette and making my drfiter the orokin bastard he was truly meant to be. But until then, I'll just keep grinding points I guess...

Ended up switching phone providers pretty recently. The last one I had was...fucking awful. Between the horrendous lack of professionalism in their customer service (try getting laughed at over the phone when you're trying to figure out why they're charging you for a service you cancelled for starters) and the fact that my phone never got stable signal even when we first switched to them...yeah, it was time. New device, too. Google Pixel phones are...certainly something to get used to when you've had a samsung for the past several years. Dunno why they decided to have the back and menu buttons swapped around, but I ended up just sticking with gesture controls for that.

Bit of advice for anyone looking at getting a Pixel, btw. Install F-Droid on your phone, get FOSS-ify camera, and use Canta+Shizuku to get rid of the stock device camera. I promise it's worth not having a shitton of AI overprocessing messing up your photos. If you need to have a phone-based photo editor, get snapseed. I know it's google-based and a lot of us are trying to get the hell out of the google ecosystem, but it's worth it. I have yet to find one that works as well that's both free and not full of AI slop.
