Ohhh boy things have been insane the past couple of months. Haven't really gotten much of a chance to do things on my site, let alone actually update this blog OTL

Our roommate has gotten us into a pretty shitty financial situation. Rent's been tough to pay, and I've been working on trying to find at least a part time job. Unfortunately to no avail. Who would've thought the job market in the US would be so dogshit, amirite? Thankfully we've been scraping by, but quite literally by the skin of our teeth. Hopefully that changes soon, with how many places I've been applying to. Seriously starting to consider applying to be a waiter or something at a nearby restaurant just for the money, but I don't exactly think I have the personality to pull that kind of work off.

Been slowly dipping my toes back into my Japanese studies with everything going on. Mainly just to keep my mind occupied on something that isn't our constant struggle. It's been going really well, I think! There's a lot of things that stuck better than I thought they did, but a lot of things that I still struggle on all the same. Especially the vocabulary relating to college majors and things like that. I've decided to skip that bit of vocab for now and come back to it later when I'm further along. Though, I'm also considering switching to the Minna no Nihongo textbook instead of just using Genki, since I've heard that one tends to be a bit better with the grammar tips, and even teaches some things that Genki leaves out.

Warframe has a halloween event going right now, and I've absolutely been ignoring any main quests or sidequests in favor of Nights of Naberus grinding lolololol. The items are soooo good, and I've been working on specifically trying to get things to decorate my orbiter, as well as some cosmetics. So far I've gotten all the ephemeras, the interior decor option, and a couple glyphs. I miiiight have also gotten some other things, but I can't remember them off the top of my head.

Speaking of, I'm considering adding a Warframe shrine to my site, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about making one of those. Might need to poke around on some other people's websites to get an idea of how I wanna do things. All I know is that I'd want it to be a completely different format than my main page, so it's not gonna be an iframe. We'll see how it pans out.
