Apparently apartment maintenace is supposed to be coming by to...do something to the pipe system today. Not sure if I believe it, since our building is usually one of the last to get checked over during inspections anyway lol. Either way, if they do come, it'll definitely be nice to get it out of the way. Especially considering the fact that they're doing it to make sure that nothing bad happens while they're doing it. To be totally honest, I think something may have happened last time they messed with the plumbing (jetting the main sewage line a month ago) and that's why they want people to be able to enter the units. They did end up calling us after they did that to make sure that nothing happened to our unit, and the lady that did sounded a bit concerned if I'm to be honest!

Since having changed the language on my Switch to Japanese, I am beginning to have some concerns. I enjoy playing Splatoon 3 and things like BOTW/Tears of the Kingdom, and I'm wondering if this will affect the language settings of those too, or if I'm in the clear for that. Hopefully the latter, because I'd hate to have to do a full restart of my console every time I wanted to play something in English to give myself a brain break.

Sonolus had an update recently that broke a lot of the servers I play on. More specifically, it broke both Project Sekai and Chart Cyanvas. Love Live seemed to be fine for a bit, but damn...it sucks when you want to play a specific game mode and you find out that an update killed the compatibility. Anyway, in a fit of trying to find something similar enough, I caved and connected to the Bandori server. When I tell you I may be a changed man holy shit. I could not have anticicpated the amount of covers they have on that server that I recognize and like! I'm especially floored at the fact that they actually have CORE PRIDE on there! Bling-Bang-Bang-Born was also unexpected, but it kinda makes sense given how popular it got for a bit with Mashle.

My partner and I started watching Blue Exorcist again last night. I never really got super far into it, so we just started where I last remember leaving off. It's definitely difficult trying to figure out where I last watched an anime that I've gotten farther in the manga, for sure! I think I may have read to at least volume 10 back when I lived closer to a library, but...well there's apparently enough differences from manga to anime that basically make it a requirement to watch from the beginning, instead of jumping in where you left off. Not a whole lot is different, but it's definitely enough of a difference for me at least.
