Well, I didn't think I'd find myself writing a blog post in HTML ever, but I guess there's a first for everything!

I actually just kinda wanted to make a little place on my website where I could get my thoughts down, and maybe talk about my language learning journey haha. By the way, I'm learning Japanese! Fairly on my own for the most part, too. I'd like to find an online class for it sometime, but I don't exactly have employment yet, so I'm not really able to sign up for any paid courses ^^; It's pretty unfortunate, all things considered.

Currently, I'm on lesson 4 of the Genki textbook, but I'm trying to make sure I reallly understand the grammar and word usage before I move on, instead of trying to jump to a new chapter every week. Honestly, though, I'm considering going back to the new chapter a week method since I'm finding that I'm getting bored of things a lot quicker this way. We'll have to see how it goes, I guess!
